Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26/05/2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the Process Planner application (“Process Planner”), developed and provided by JFDI Consulting Ltd, processes and protects personal information.

Process Planner is a SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solution designed for use within Microsoft 365 environments. This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Process Planner application and its associated services, not to the JFDI public website or unrelated products.

Information we collect

Process Planner uses Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online as its underlying data platform. The app does not collect personal data beyond what is stored in your SharePoint lists and Microsoft 365 tenant. All data remains within your organisation’s Microsoft 365 environment unless explicitly connected to our licensed SaaS service for activation or licensing validation.

Personal information may include:

  • User names, emails, or IDs associated with SharePoint list entries
  • Item data stored within SharePoint lists (titles, descriptions, dates, choices, attachments)
  • Metadata associated with items (categories, priorities, owners, custom fields)

How we use information

Process Planner reads and writes data only within your organisation’s Microsoft 365 tenant. Data is processed solely to:

  • Display the kanban Board view, the List/Table view, and item detail dialogs
  • Retrieve and update item information stored in SharePoint lists
  • Validate licensing through the connected SaaS service

No data is sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.

Data storage and security

All data is stored within your Microsoft 365 tenant. Process Planner relies on Microsoft’s built-in security, compliance, and permission models. JFDI Consulting Ltd does not have access to your tenant’s data unless explicitly granted for support purposes.

User permissions

Process Planner respects your SharePoint site permissions. Users can only view or modify items they are already authorised to access; lane moves write back to the originating list using the user’s own identity.

Offline data

When connectivity drops, Process Planner queues changes (edits, lane moves, creates, deletes) locally in your browser’s storage. The queue is yours, on your device, and is synced to SharePoint when connectivity is restored. No queued data is transmitted to JFDI Consulting Ltd.

Your rights

Because Process Planner stores all information in your Microsoft 365 tenant, your organisation maintains full control over data retention, deletion, and export. You can remove Process Planner at any time without affecting any underlying data.
